Taylorsville, UT — February 20, 2025 — Waterford.org, a national early education nonprofit, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Kristi James as its new Chief Academic Officer and Executive Vice President of Curriculum.
As a leader in early learning, research-backed curriculum, and family engagement strategies, Waterford.org serves hundreds of thousands of children, educators, and families each year. In her new role, James will lead the organization’s academic vision and instructional team.

James brings more than two decades of experience in K-12 education, higher education, and nonprofit leadership. Throughout her career, she has worked to close opportunity gaps, support learners, and ensure every child has access to high-quality early learning experiences.
