It’s a busy week for national celebrations: In addition to National Teacher Appreciation Week, it’s also National Music Week! National Music Week is meant “to create an understanding and appreciation of the value of music in the home, the community, the nation, and the world,” and is sponsored by the National Federation of Music Clubs.
We love these music resources on TeacherVision for ideas on how to bring music into your classroom with lessons and printables. And, of course, we encourage you to use the fun and educational songs in Waterford Early Learning (check out the one below!) to engage your students. You can also download our free Waterford iPad app, MyBackpack, to use in the classroom or send home with parents; it includes 35 catchy, original songs to illustrate reading, math and science concepts in fun ways that make sense and stick with children.
